Who would have thought?! Our usually tranquil library burst into a colorful “Dot Wonderland” on the second week of September! With colored pens in hand, the children dotted and dabbed across their chosen frames, letting every drop of color dance with creativity and imagination to show their ideas.
The new school year is underway, and ISA Science City’s Head of School and Principal team is greeting it with a fresh and confident presence. Coming from diverse backgrounds, they share a clear vision: to guide the school with expertise and foresight, continually refining our approach to nurture the future pioneers. Since its founding five years ago, the school has grown into a prominent academic institution in the Greater Bay Area — achieving full IB program authorization, joining CIS and WASC, and seeing graduates admitted to top universities worldwide, reflecting its solid and outstanding educational strength.
With the new school year just beginning, ISASC welcomed families to its Back to School Night. Centered on academics, the event guided parents through the year’s learning blueprint, highlighting their child’s academic priorities and growth path for the year ahead. Meanwhile, on the other side of this academic exploration, students engaged in trial sessions of nearly 150 Co-curricular Activities (CCAs) and Extra-curricular Activities (ECAs), discovering different subjects and interests as they prepared for a year of learning and growth.
From new classrooms to new grades, from peers to teachers, every step of adaptation is part of growth. How can children quickly find their rhythm and confidence during this transition?
To help students transition smoothly, ISASC carefully planned a variety of activities on the first day. From learning rules to setting goals and developing leadership, the IB philosophy unfolds progressively across different age groups, guiding students steadily along their paths of inquiry, success, and action.
On August 22, ISASC opened its gate to a warm and welcoming Orientation Day filled with joy and anticipation. Newcomers and returning families alike were greeted with smiles and excitement, children curiously exploring or joyfully greeting friends, while parents gained a clear picture of the year ahead. The day not only prepared everyone for the new term, but also filled each family with confidence and a sense of belonging.
