On the afternoon of 12th November, Mr. Chao Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director General of Wuhan Municipal Education Bureau, who attended the "2023 Wuhan and the Greater Bay Area Enterprises and Wuhan Alumni Symposium" in Guangzhou, visited ISA Guangzhou Science City International School for investigation and research. After Mayor Cheng and other leaders at all levels in Hubei Province and urban areas visited ISA Science City School in 2022, this time, Mr. Chao Li came to ISA Science City for the first time to investigate and research. Accompanied by the Board Member of ISA International Education Group (ISAIEG), Mr. Herb Wang and other members, Mr. Chao Li exchanged views on the construction and development of international schools. Mr. Chao Li learnt about and fully discussed the design philosophy of ISA Science City School, which is "establish the curriculum before design the school" and "learner-centred".
Exciting news has arrived from ISA Science City! Our Grade 12 students, Jill and Jackie, had outstanding achievements in the China Region of the Global Academician Challenge 2023. This competition was organized by Kinglead and involved collaboration with scholars and experts from prestigious universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, and Oxford. Jill was awarded the second prize, and Jackie received the third prize.
On 10-11 November 2023, the RAISE2023 6th Asian International Schools Conference and 30 Years of International Schools Awards Ceremony was held in Hong Kong, China. As the flagship school of ISA International Education Group, ISA Science City School for Children of Expatriates was honoured with the "Special Sharing Award (School)" at the ceremony!
From Monday to Friday, teachers organised a variety of events that offer opportunities for school-wide participation. There was a focus on a technique or skill for each day of the week. They were designed to involve wordplay, presentation, and fluency with the primary focus on the English language.

The first ICU Cheerleading World Cup Competition was held from 6 to 8 October 2023 in Seoul, South Korea. Nearly 100 teams from more than 20 countries and regions participated in this cheerleading event of the highest level in the world. Michelle Huang, a Grade 10 student from ISASC, was part of the Chinese team that won the Youth Coed Median Championship, the first time a Chinese team has won the championship in the same type of international event, through three days, three games, and more than 80 teams competing on the same stage. This is also the first time for the Chinese team to win the championship in the same type of international competition, which is a historic moment worth remembering.
